About Me

What about me? I am Hari Narayana, working as a Project Manager in an Indian Multi National Organization, one of the two children of my parents. I am always with varying moods and emotions in extremities and social. I have a life style of my own and do not mix personal and professional life. A true Hyderabadi myself, i love my city and its culture; the culture which shows unity in diversity by creating South India’s biggest statue of Lord Ganesha by Mohammadean workers. Love the Irani Chai and Hyderabadi Biryani.

India has always fascinated me with its rich history. I had heard stories from my grandmother during my childhood. Some old books stored by my parents also increased the interest. I had read about kingdoms like “Vijayanagara”and “Kakatiya”, about people like Prithviraj Chouhan and Shah Jahan and had read about Buddhism and Jainism. That was probably the beginning. Being in Bangalore for nearly four years has helped me in visiting many new places and the planning for those trips kept me learning more. This passion of knowing India probably is the driving force for my travel.

Marriage changed me better and i took up the passion towards riding. Completing a Ladakh to Kanyakumari ride on an Activa has been the best experience knowing the people of India. This blog is just an attempt to show India in its grandeur through my eyes..My expeditions constitute a wide range of places like History, Heritage and Nature.

Looking forward for a wonderful and memorable journey. Please leave a comment below or personally contact me at harinarayana.m@gmail.com

  1. I have just returned from a trip to the Bidar Fort. I was delighted to come across your blog about the place. You have gone into such detail that I wish I had read it before I visited the Fort. I was fortunate to have been able to see all the areas that are locked. Apparently, they are waiting for permission to charge an entry fee and then they will open all the areas to the public. But even now, they are quite obliging. I saw a lot of people who were being taken around by the ASI employees. It was a great experience. Thanks for your information.

I am Kamal from goMowgli – India’s first

our focus is on people who are planning to visit India, or people who have

one stop shop for all things related to India. This adds value to both goMowgli
and travelrope. We will place your blog link on our travel resources page and
you can do the same by placing our travel resources link on travelrope.
